Enabling Cookies and JavaScript

We recommend enabling cookies and JavaScript for an optimal experience at LakeshoreLearning.com. Without cookies and JavaScript enabled, some features of our website may not function correctly, including forms and checkout.

Most browsers are set to accept cookies and run JavaScript automatically, but some browsers have cookies and JavaScript turned off by default. This page is designed to help you identify your browser type and version and assist you in enabling your cookies and JavaScript so you can use all of our website’s features. If you need assistance with this process, please contact us.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small strings of letters and numbers that a web page asks your browser to store. Lakeshore and many other Internet merchants use cookies to help keep track of the items in your shopping cart. This information is stored until you send in your order and poses no security or privacy risk to you. They simply help us fetch the products you have selected and allow us to place them on your order form when you click on the shopping cart/purchase icon. (Learn more about Privacy & Security.)

What Is JavaScript?

JavaScript is a computer programming language used to create interactive effects within web browsers. Lakeshore uses JavaScript to create order forms, animations, enhanced images and other features that improve your customer experience. For instance, this may include a function to automatically complete order forms with billing and shipping information that you previously provided to the website. To turn this feature on or off, follow the instructions in the Enabling JavaScript section below. (Learn more about Privacy & Security.)
